  9. Security
This Web site takes many precautions to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration application forms ask users to enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted with the highest level encryption available. While on a secure page, such as our procurement forms, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted on secured servers and physically within our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information (such as information provided in the Procurement Center). Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. As well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users’ information is protected. If you have any questions concerning the security of our site and facilities, please forward your questions in email.

  10. Privacy of children
Our site is not intended to be used by children or minors under the age of 18. We operate our site in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and do not permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from, anyone under 18 years of age. This requirement is clearly posted during the registration process.
